I grew up in Danville, Illinois and currently live in Oak Park, Illinois. I have two daughters in grade school and high school & have a close-knit supportive, loving family. We are also a very athletic & sport-loving family! I consider myself a coffee & wine connoisseur. In my spare time I love to exercise, read, travel, explore everything & try new restaurants. (I also consider myself a foodie!) My favorite food is Mexican & my favorite sweet treats are Strawberry TruFru or a Reese Cup!

With over 20 years of combined Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing experience in a level 1 trauma ICU, Pain Management, and Critical Care Telemedicine, Maria has extensive expertise and training in health and high-risk care. After nearly two decades in nursing, Maria decided to shift her focus and become an Aesthetic Nurse Injector, channeling her passion for helping others coupled with her lifelong love of all things beauty. She opened Bellara Aesthetics in 2019 to help women reach their aesthetic goals through individualized treatment plans and age-defying skincare services. Maria empowers her clients to embrace their natural beauty and understand their skin so they can become the most beautiful and confident version of themselves.
In addition to running Bellara, Maria does telemedicine consultations for nurses and aestheticians in Illinois two days a week. Maria is a wife and mother of five and loves to spend her free time outdoors, hiking, traveling, hanging out with her family, and reading.
